Quote Of The Day Challenge – Day One

Happy Wednesday Everyone !!! πŸ™‚

Last Saturday, I was quite surprised when I read that Claire from Paintbox Mum had nominated me for the Three Day Quote Challenge. Β I felt quite special and honoured. Β I did however, wonder if ‘I could do this’, but then thought, of course I can. Β It is something I have never done before and it will be fun.

A huge Thank You, to Claire from Paintbox Mum who nominated me for this challenge. Β If you do not know Claire, I strongly suggest you pop over and check out her adorable site. https://paintboxmum.wordpress.com/

Claire loves crafts and cooking which she loves doing with her two children. She has a great concept which I am a firm believer in, and that is, not spending a fortune on materials for crafts and things, if it is not necessary, and to basically make do with what is on hand at home. Her site is gorgeous, and I for one, always look forward to her posts and seeing what beautiful creations her little ones have done. Thanks again Claire for including me in this fun challenge.

Honestly, I didn’t quite know where to begin, so I went over to my Pinterest page and checked out the quotes which I had pinned over time.

So, my Quote for today is from Roald Dahl, which comes from the book The Twits:

Rules for the challenge –

1 – Thank the blogger that nominated you.

2 – Share one new quote on three consecutive days on your blog. They can be from anyone, anything or anywhere.

3 – On each of the three days, nominate three more bloggers to carry on the fun! No pressure; nominees are free to decline.

My first day nominees are –

LynnaΒ  form How Lynnaful

Shamira Β  from Smiling Notes

LanaΒ  from Once Upon A Spice

Until tomorrow everyone Β πŸ™‚

  2. This is a really lovely quote, and one that is so very true. Negative or hostile thoughts bring just the opposite of sunbeams. They say angry people have a face like thunder. We should all aim for sunbeams. πŸ˜€
